Surprise Chef speaks the standard Model Context Protocol, so any MCP-compatible client should be able to connect. Gemini is untested but expected to work — if you try it, please tell us how it went.

Surprise Chef has been tested end-to-end with Claude and ChatGPT. The MCP spec is the same across clients, so Gemini, Cursor, Cline, Windsurf, and other MCP-aware tools should work — but we haven't verified each one. If you connect a new client, drop us a note via your dashboard so we can add it to the supported list.
General MCP setup

Get your MCP server URL
Open the Connect AI page in your dashboard. Copy the MCP server URL — it's the same URL Claude and ChatGPT use.

Add it to your AI client
Follow your client's MCP install instructions. Most accept a server URL plus an OAuth flow or API key.

Verify
Ask your AI 'list my tools' or run a known Surprise Chef prompt. If it returns kitchen data, you're connected.
